The conclusion of the Artistic World Championships saw Britain’s Gymnasts successfully competing in six finals across seven days of competition.
There were world class athletes abound in all fields and disciplines and the team representing GB did us all proud!
Now it’s the turn of the Rhythmic Gymnasts and for the British group it’s only their second outing following the European Championships back in the spring.
26-year-old coach, Lynne Hutchison, who was part of the group that came 12th in London 2012 has made it her mission to bring forward this new generation. To be able to compete on the main stage at international events.
Amidst difficult training conditions, Lynne and this group of young talented rhythmic gymnasts are determined to make the Worlds a success. Following this, their goal is to move forward and work towards qualification for Paris 2024.
Gymnastics Direct wishes Emily Austin, Alida Bogdanova, Rosina Cheale, Atanaska Kirilova and Isabella Mason-Iran the very best of luck as they begin their group competition, in Group A, on Friday 29th October from 8:50am-10:10am.
You can follow the team’s performance and all other performances via the FIG YouTube channel.
