With barely time to catch your breath after the girls exhilarating bronze medal yesterday. The non-stop action continued today with the men’s All-Around finals.

Unfortunately, there were no medals today for Team GB in the Artistic Gymnastics competition.  Instead, however, two very credible performances from James Hall finishing eighth and Joe Fraser ninth in the all-around final.

The Gold medal went to Japan’s 19-year-old sensation Daiki Hashimoto.  Japan leading the medal table with 13 gold medals.

Joe showing great strength of character to come back from a fall on the pommel and a stumble on the vault.  Joe however gave a powerful performance on the horizontal bar scoring 14.400, which will hold him in great stead ahead of the final later in the week.

Hall showed his consistency as he did in the team event, finishing with a final score of 84.598.  You can see all the scores and Final Standings here.
