Team GB are geared up and ready for Tokyo and so are our Gymnasts.  The Women’s Artistic Gymnastics team features four gymnasts, all making their Olympic debuts in Tokyo, but who are they and what are their chances?

Twin-sister duo of Jennifer and Jessica Gadirova will be joined by Alice Kinsella and Amelie Morgan.  All of them have pedigree and have won a plethora of medals.  Kinsella, the most experienced, demonstrated her prowess on Beam by taking the 2018 Commonwealth games title before claiming the 2019 European beam title.

Amelie’s journey through the Junior ranks made history taking five medals at the Junior Europeans.  Morgan has gone on to win bronze on the uneven bars in the 2021 Senior European Championships as well as impressing on beam, finishing 4th in the all-around finals makes her one to watch.

Jessica Gadirova excelled throughout the European Championships, winning all-around bronze, silver on vault and capping it off by becoming floor champion on the final day.

Her twin sister Jennifer medalled at the 2019 Junior World Championships and like her sister, is confident on the floor, strong on vault, and has produced eye-catching routines on beam too.

Forecast for Tokyo, very bright with a chance to shine!
